The Sea Fisheries Museum in Świnoujście houses collections of marine themes and the history of the city.
The exhibition is divided into three sections
The natural history section displays the fauna of three climate zones: the Baltic Sea, the Szczecin Lagoon, and the Pomeranian Bay; cold Arctic waters and the warm sea zone. The nature section is complemented by an amber exhibit and an exhibition of a living coral reef.
The nautical section includes old fishing gear, models of fishing vessels, sailing ships, and navigation instruments and aids.
In the historical department, we will learn about the history of the city. An additional attraction of this section is the "Walk around pre-war Świnoujście" application. It allows you to become a tourist from the first decades of the 20th century and visit pre-war streets, squares, harbor, beach, or promenade.
